Our Work
Every workshop, every project and every conversation begins with attention.
From there, every journey becomes unique…
Listening In

By moving slowly through our landscapes, we begin to notice the threads all around us.
Listening In creates space to slow down, pay attention and explore the places we inhabit with curiosity and wonder. Through listening, observation and creative exploration, we can discover deeper connections with our communities, our landscapes and ourselves.
Speaking Out

We all have a story to share. We all have a voice.
Speaking Out creates space to find that voice and give it form. Through storytelling, writing, sound and other creative practices, we help people explore their experiences of place and share something of themselves with the communities and landscapes to which they belong.

Every project is developed collaboratively to meet the needs of the people and place involved.
Every place is different.
Every community has its own stories, rhythms and ways of understanding the world.
No two projects are ever the same.
If you’d like to explore what This Place Speaks might look like in your community, we’d love to begin that conversation.
