Listening In

By moving slowly through our landscapes we can learn to see the threads all around us.

We live in a world that rarely asks us to slow down. Listening In creates the time and space to do just that. Through walking, observation and creative exploration we begin to notice the small fragments that are so often overlooked.

From those fragments come connection, curiosity and belonging.

Why Listening Matters

Modern life often asks us to move quickly. Listening In asks something different.

We believe that attention is a skill that can be practised. By learning to notice more deeply we often discover stronger connections with ourselves, our communities and the natural world.

Through these connections we can find an increased sense of belonging, self-esteem and mental wellbeing.

What Happens

Our work through Listening In invites you to:

Slow Down
leave behind the pace of everyday life.

Explore
with curiosity rather than destination.

Notice
the small, beautiful things with awe and wonder.

Free Your Expression

Through slowing down, exploring and noticing there is then space to allow expression of these moments of awe and wonder. This is where Listening In becomes Speaking Out.

Every place is different.

Every community has its own stories, rhythms and ways of understanding the world.

No two projects are ever the same.

If you’d like to explore what This Place Speaks might look like in your community, we’d love to begin that conversation.
